Privacy Policy
Transparent guidelines outlining how Phone Status: Device Info handles your system attributes, hardware diagnostic tests, and device configuration parameters.
📊 1. Introduction
Welcome to Phone Status: Device Info (referred to as the "App"), owned and operated by CodingMstr. We are strongly committed to respecting and safeguarding the privacy of our users.
This Privacy Policy explains what information our App accesses, how it processes that information, and how we handle third-party integrations (such as advertisements and billing upgrades). By downloading and using this App, you consent to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
Offline & Privacy-First Architecture
All core diagnostics and system information reports run strictly offline on your local device. We do not maintain user databases on our own servers, nor do we run custom tracking analytics on your personal data.
📈 2. Data Collection and Usage
Our App performs local scans of hardware configurations, diagnostic signals, storage status, and installed apps. The table below outlines how this information is handled:
- Hardware Parameters: Information like CPU clock speeds, RAM capacity, screen refresh rates, battery health, and sensor lists are scanned locally. They are only displayed inside the App to help you analyze your device performance and are never uploaded.
- Apps and Cache Analysis: The App scans your installed apps directory to construct custom size visualizer maps and detect residual junk. This file mapping resides dynamically in volatile RAM while you navigate the storage screens and is cleared instantly upon closing the App.
- Diagnostic Tools: Custom diagnostic actions (like rendering camera previews for the camera test or analyzing sound inputs for the decibel meter) run interactively. The App does not record files or save diagnostic streams outside of transient, temporary testing windows.
⚙️ 3. Permissions & System Access
To run diagnostic suites and display detailed system analytics, the App requests specific system permissions. Use the interactive Permissions Explorer widget below to understand what each permission accesses, why it is required, and how your privacy is guaranteed:
🌐 4. Third-Party Services
We use trusted third-party SDKs to fund App development and handle transactions securely. These external providers may collect certain details to perform their tasks. Below are details of these services and links to their respective privacy policies:
Google Play Billing
Manages transaction logs, product activations, and subscription renewals securely on behalf of the App.
Google Privacy Policy →Google AdMob
Delivers banners, interstitials, and rewarded ads. Uses standard device advertising identifiers (AD ID) to serve non-personalized or personalized ads.
AdMob Cookie/Ad Policy →🛡️ 5. Data Security and Retention
Because the App executes almost entirely on your physical hardware, we do not store your device configuration values or diagnostic session parameters on our databases. Diagnostic logs and cache charts are kept locally in the App's memory workspace and disappear when the app process is terminated.
In cases where you make purchases (e.g., upgrading to lifetime premium ad-free access), transaction authentication records are securely linked directly to your Google Account through the Google Play Store, preserving your financial details without exposing them to us.
👶 6. Children's Privacy
Our App is not intended for or directed towards children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly gather or request personally identifiable data from children. If we identify that a child under 13 has transmitted registration details or identifiers to us, we will immediately delete this information from our communication logs.
✉️ 7. Contact Support & Feedback
If you have any questions, security concerns, or feedback regarding our privacy standards, feel free to reach out to us. We aim to respond within 2-3 business days.
